The mindful eating cycle
The mindful eating plan teaches you to listen to your body. Stop and think is this what I really want. Let your body catch up to your brain. Eat slowly and savor every bite. Stop eating when you are full. Know your body's signals when you are full. Are you eating because you need to or because you have an emotional need? Shut off the electronics and eat at the table. Have set times to eat and enjoy every bite. Eating at random times and eating because you are bored add calories to your diet that add to unhealthy weight. Understand why you are eating, are you hungry or are you eating because you are stressed or bored. are you eating to comfort yourself or eating to be nutritionally healthy. the next time yo pick up something to eat STOP and THINK do I want this?
