The Mediterranean diet is full of fresh fruits and vegetables with an emphasis on exercise. It is based on the traditional foods eaten by the Greek people. It has been proven that eating this way can help with weight loss and type 2 diabetes. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, beans, whole grains, fish seafood and olive oil.
